The rooftop bar is buzzing with conversation, but you're mesmerized by the city lights twinkling below. You lean against the railing, and your earrings catch the breeze, dancing like liquid starlight against your neck.
"Excuse me," comes a low voice behind you. You turn slowly, and your earrings sway with the movement. A devastatingly handsome stranger stands there, martini in hand, his eyes transfixed. "I've been watching you from across the bar, and I have to ask..."
You tilt your head slightly, feeling the gentle caress of your earrings against your skin. "Yes?"
He steps closer, his gaze following the hypnotic movement. "Those earrings... they move like they're alive. It's captivating."
You touch one delicately, letting it dance between your fingers. "They're called Jellyfish," you purr, watching his pupils dilate as they sway.
"Like you," he murmurs, "they're impossible to look away from. Where did you get them?"
"Webster Street," you answer.
